Kent Leacock is the Sr Director of Public Affairs for Mainspring Energy a manufacturer of fuel flexible (biogas, ammonia, hydrogen) renewable energy generation facilities. He is responsible for legislative and state and local public affairs. Previously he was Sr. Director of Government Relations & Public Policy Americas for VMware the leader in multi-cloud technology. Before that he was the Sr. Director of Government Relations & Public Policy for Proterra, a VC backed electric vehicle and energy storage manufacturing company. Leacock also spent a decade as a senior executive with AT&T and Comcast in the East, Midwest, and West. During his last four years he concentrated on policy strategy, municipal contract negotiations and government relations. Leacock received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
